1. Information We Collect

When you install Rankavio, Shopify shares certain store information with us via OAuth, and you may provide additional information by using the app's features:

• Store information: your shop domain, store name, and the email address associated with your Shopify account.
• Product data: titles, IDs, and images of the products you choose to work with inside the app.
• Uploaded and generated images: product photos you upload and the AI-generated photo sets created for you.
• Usage data: number of AI credits used, generation history, SEO audit results, and competitor analysis queries.
• Billing data: your subscription plan and status. Payment is handled entirely by Shopify — Rankavio never sees your card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

• Operate the Service — generate AI product photos, run SEO audits, and provide competitor insights for your store.
• Track and enforce your plan's monthly AI credit allowance.
• Save your generation history so you can review and re-download past results.
• Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• Maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

To provide the Service, we share limited data with the following sub-processors, solely for the purposes described below. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their part of the Service and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.

• Shopify — authentication, store data access, and subscription billing.
• Replicate (Flux Kontext Pro model) — processes the product photo you upload to generate new AI images.
• Anthropic (Claude) — analyzes product information to power SEO audits and competitor analysis summaries.
• SerpAPI — retrieves public search-engine results used for competitor analysis.
• Cloudflare R2 — stores and serves your uploaded and generated images via a content delivery network.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored on reputable cloud infrastructure (Cloudflare R2 for images, a managed database for app data). Access is restricted to what's needed to operate and support the Service.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your store's data for as long as the app remains installed, so that your generation history, SEO audits, and settings remain available to you.

If you uninstall Rankavio, Shopify notifies us via mandatory privacy webhooks (shop/redact, customers/redact, customers/data_request) and we delete or anonymize the corresponding store data in accordance with Shopify's requirements.

You may also request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us using the details below.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under data protection laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us — we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Cookies & Tracking

Rankavio uses only the cookies and local storage necessary for the app to function — primarily to remember your language preference (Turkish/English). We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use by Shopify merchants and is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
